Job Title: Site Supervisor – Golden Pass
Department / Division: Coach USA Industrial Division
FLSA Status: Full Time, Hourly
Work Location: Orange, TX
Salary: $25.00 per hour
CDL Required
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible assisting in the assignment, scheduling, and notification of operators for bus operations
  • Respond to calls, texts or other operator inquiries and provide assistance, directions, and information to ensure safe and timely route operation
  • Maintain familiarity with all routes currently being offered - communicate information to customers as applicable
  • Communicate with operations and customers to resolve issues
  • Assist in coordination with Maintenance Department scheduling of repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency on call requirements
  • On-site supervision of drivers and passengers
  • Preform driver performance observations and communicate any concerns with Safety & Operations.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a dispatcher or relevant position
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel between work sites (local).
  • Knowledge of DOT Safety rules, Hours of service, Federal and State Regulations for facilities and operators
  • Active Listener with excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external customers under any type of condition
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
  • Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances
  • Possess critical thinking skills to understand the cause/effect of decisions and how they impact the operation.
  • Available on weekends, holidays, days, and nights and working flexible shifts depending on the operation’s needs
  • Knowledgeable in data entry, internet usage, email, Microsoft Office, Excel, and web-based routing/GPS programs
  • High school diploma
  • · Proficient in English (oral and written)
